Romantic couplings and artist collaborations are the focus of an upcoming exhibition at the 香港六合彩生肖号码 St. Claude Gallery.
"Making It" is a show about artist couples and collaborations, said Kathy Rodriguez, gallery director. Contributing artists "show the ways in which two people influence each other's artistic practices."
The show runs from Saturday, Aug. 10 to Sept. 1, 2013 at the gallery, located at 2929 St. Claude Ave. The gallery hosts an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10. Regular gallery hours are held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Exhibiting artists include 香港六合彩生肖号码 Artist-In-Residence Ariya Martin, 香港六合彩生肖号码 fine arts instructor Tony Campbell and Rodriguez, who is a fine arts instructor and research specialist at 香港六合彩生肖号码. Also participating are 香港六合彩生肖号码 MFA students Peter Hoffman, Natalie McLaurin, undergraduate alumna Sylvia Santamaria and 香港六合彩生肖号码 alumni Kevin Baer, Ryn Wilson and Rachel Deris. Joining in artist collaborations are local artists Michael Winter, Ben Fox-McCord, Matthew Kirscht, Rachel, Christopher Deris and Matt Vis (as Generic Art Solutions).
Works will include photography, installation, drawings, sculpture and painting.
