About our Department
Welcome to the Chemistry Department at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÉúФºÅÂë! Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs are designed to provide students with an engaging and challenging academic experience. Our Department is small enough to offer personal attention to students, yet large enough to provide opportunities for students in the areas of research, teaching, and service. Undergraduate and graduate students work alongside faculty to conduct original research, often presenting their work at academic conferences and co-authoring scholarly publications.
Many graduate students are offered teaching assistant positions and exceptional undergraduate students can serve as lab teaching assistants or tutors. Our Chemistry Learning Center offers free walk-in tutoring five days per week and is available to students for group meetings and study sessions.
